Family Photographer in Wandsworth Common

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family amongst the burnt grasses and wild clover of Wandsworth Common just three days before their baby turned one. It's a very special honour to be invited to spend time with a family, to capture their love and connection and to give them heirloom images that they'll treasure forever. Wandsworth Common is an amazing location for a family photoshoot - it's wild and open and has a rustic charm to it plus it's large enough to head off the beaten track and find some secret spots where your kids can roam free.

If you're interested in making forever images of your family in one of your favourite spots shoot me an email with any questions you have. My next available bookings are towards the end of September - I cannot believe I'm saying that - it's a wonderful position to be in, but I am already so excited about the magic we can make together in the late summer and early autumn. If you're wanting holiday card pictures, now is the time to reserve your space - let's shoot before the cold sets in.

Natural Mother & Baby outdoor Photoshoot in Richmond Upon Thames

I'd photographed Anastasia with her family when her baby was 3 months old so when she asked to meet up again and do a Mother and baby photoshoot in Richmond Park I jumped at the chance. It was windy and bitter on the morning of the session but she'd wrapped her little one up in layers of wool and the sweetest red socks. Being Russian, Anastasia doesn't feel the cold, I almost fell over when she took off her jacket and while my fingers froze and my nose turned red she looked peaceful and serene snuggling her baby boy. Putting the focus on that special bond between a mother and her child is one of my favourite things about my work. It's so important to capture the mamas who so often get lost in the family albums, choosing to hide behind the lens instead of getting in the pictures themselves. Here are my favourite frames from our morning out in the wild...

Natural Light Newborn Baby Photographer; Kew, London

I'm catching up on some long overdue blog posts, I had an amazing year in 2017 band got to work with some beautiful families across London and Surrey. It's hard to know where to begin getting them all up on my site but I'm starting up with this lovely newborn session featuring baby Penny and her parents in their flat in Kew.

I love shooting people in their own homes. There is something intimate about capturing a family in their cosy space, seeking out some pretty light and documenting the connection between parents and their little ones. If you'd like to find out more about booking a home session for your brood send me a note or give me a call on 07557883079. I'd love to work with you.

Natural Newborn Photographer, Putney London

I'm catching up on some long overdue blogs sharing some of my work from the past few months. It's a wonderful thing to be busy photographing families and new babies but it often means publishing my work here gets put to the bottom of the list.

I loved this shoot, the moody light, those little toes, fresh belly button and delicate newborn features and the gentle way his parents are holding him. It's hard to believe this baby boy is one and a half already and I've photographed him since earlier this year in the Spring sunshine.

If you're expecting a baby and are looking for a newborn photographer to capture those early days with a relaxed session at home in London or Surrey please drop me an email I would love to hear from you.

Newborn Photographer At home in Wandsworth, London

I'm pretty sure I'd have had ten babies by now if I didn't get to do this for a living. Meeting new families welcoming new life week in week out gives me my fix of 'newborness' and I literally never tire of it. Life in those first couple of weeks, (well months), is messy, chaotic, full of uncertainties and very different to the life we know before we become parents. There is something so precious about capturing this time for people. Perhaps because I know only too well how fleeting it is, and how one day, these new parents will look back in wonder at how tiny their most precious being could have been.

Here is baby Arthur just shy of two weeks old and about as scrumptious as could be.

If you are expecting a baby and would like to chat about booking in a newborn shoot, I would love to hear from you. You can contact me on or drop me a note here

Creative Newborn Photographer, Victoria Park, London

As newborn lifestyle shoots go, this one is right up there in my memory bank of keepers.

I find the bigger a family is, the more colourful and flamboyant the shoot. I loved the light and quirks in this house. The way each family member had their turn holding teeny tiny Darcy close and sitting for me to take their portraits with her.  Whilst those images were more traditional portraits, I love how each is unique reflecting the personalities of each family member.

In between the moments of calm there was a lot of life in this session - inevitable with 2 older kiddos darting about the room. I really like that sense of movement, after all life with kids is messy.

The result of our time together is a higgeldy piggeldy collection of images full of light, love and playfulness. Just as all good family sessions should be ;-)

Bohemian Maternity & Pregnancy Photographer in Richmond, London

Somehow Rachel makes pregnancy look like the most beautiful, peaceful, joyful thing in the world. Probably because it really is such an incredible, empowering experience to go through as a woman but also because, let's face it, she totally rocked this vintage dress and showed off her bump to perfection in the photos. I can't wait to revisit her in the springtime and capture her little one. I have a few more images from this session with Rachel and her daughter at their home which I will share later this week so watch this space... I really love photographing pregnancy. Maternity sessions have an intimacy and a vulnerability about them that I adore. There is something very special about awaiting the arrival of a little one, and about the metamorphosis we, as women, go through as we bloom and blossom.

Mother & Baby Photographer in Shepherds Bush, London

I can't believe I'm only just sharing this session now, almost a year after I shot it. A mother and baby mini session with Line and Liam in their amazing home in Shepherd Bush. It was hot, there was a lot of nursing, cuddling and playfulness, and best of all, a baby in nothing but a nappy, which makes me so happy.

I love capturing one on one sessions with my mother and baby shoots. If you're interested in booking a session like this one drop me a note, I have a couple of spaces left for August ripe for the picking.

Family Photographer Richmond-Upon-Thames

I can't believe I haven't shared this shoot before now because it's one of my favourite family sessions of last year. I'd photographed Serevine and her family a year before this shoot at their home in Putney, London. Then last Spring she got back in touch to say she wanted to do another shoot, this time, outdoors in the wilds of Richmond Park.

We met early one evening in May with a picnic and three eager children all ready to explore Richmond Park. The light was soft and pretty and the children climbed trees, blew dandelions and gathered handfuls of long grasses as I shot their session.

This is a family full of love and with a great sense of humour, I can't wait to capture them all again, this Spring, one year on.

I really love shooting in beautiful London locations like Richmond Park. Late Spring is a magical time for photoshoots and taking a picnic for an early evening session means you get a relaxed and informal collection of images during the golden hour.  Whilst I'm based in Richmond and do most of my work on location in the park here, I'm always happy to travel too to other wild and beautiful spots. If you'd like to find out more about booking a shoot with me, whether it's a family photographer you're looking for or you're interested in capturing your pregnancy or newborn, drop me a note. I'd love to work with you.
