When Shirley contacted me to ask about a shoot, I knew I'd found someone who really shared my love for natural photography, she wanted me to capture her children and family in as unobtrusive a way as possible. As soon as three year old Ruby introduced herself I fell for her charm and mischievous character. She bounded about their house, showing me all the knooks and crannies and bouncing on her bed, full of beans. Her baby brother Oscar was quiet, inquisitive and such a bonny little boy. It was an honour to capture this family while they went about their day together. We had a tea party in the garden, a trampolining session on Ruby's bed, read 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' and played on the rocking horse.
Here are just a few of my favourites from their shoot.
